Murphy's Millions Fruit Machine, £70 Jackpot
As Barcrest are no longer making £70 jackpot pub fruit machines, I guess it is a shame that one of their final machines is a clone of several others.
Murphy's Millions is a Rainbow Riches themed £70 jackpot with a Deal or No Deal theme at its core. Feature entry is gained from completing the number trail at the bottom. 25p and 50p offer standard numbers, £1 play doubles the numbers, possibly making feature entry higher and easier.
There are essentially four levels to the game and feature start. Level four automatically opens the main feature game, which works in the same way as Deal or No Deal. Except the Barcrest take on this theme is a rigged box (Bell Fruit Deal or No Deal games offer a random box).
Features and cash shots are the same as all other machines, nothing unique here.
Forcing for the jackpot can be expensive, but this version does (or did!) streak for up to £210. If you do force for jackpot, be aware that the following couple of boards after the Mega Streak, can appear 'happy', but not jackpot ready. It is probably best to ride a couple of those out, it shouldn't cost too much on £1 play, and see if it will offer another Mega Streak.
If not, it is probably best to wind down the boards with a few £20 wins.
Summery: Not the greatest of machines, but not too bad.
