Take It Or Leave It, Crazy Trails £70 Jackpot
Take It Or Leave It Crazy Trails is a pretty decent game and is a copy of many of Barcrest's earlier machines, especially the original Take It Or Leave It. .
Entry to the feature is gained from a win on the line or accumulating 8 or more numbers on the trial. Each number past 7 up to 11 opens up extra zones within the game. All four zones lit on feature entry awards the Crazy Trails feature which is essentially a predetermined Deal or No Deal game.
This game accumulates, and as such it is possible to push all out for the red mega streak. Doing so can cost anything up to £120 (rarely more). The game will usually be invincible at this stage (giving a £70 shot is invincible, just carry on with the board).
Unlike Bell Fruit games, Barcrest play very well on £1 stake. This particular game doubles the numbers on £1 play making feature entry at level four fairly common.
Once on the feature, the player progresses around the board in the usual fashion landing on feature shots, cash shots, super shots, and cash pot (amongst other things) along the way.
Cash shots offer 12 different values from £1 up to £70. Some of the values offer a repeat chance, and when red the repeat chance is a very slow true skill (just the one!). There is no repeat chance for the £70 value, however it will always offer mega streak if the £70 cash shot is awarded.
Super shots offer a selection of 12 different values including streaks. The streaks are:
Streak: Around £8 - £12
Super Streak: Around £16-£24
Mega Streak: Minimum £70
There are also a selection of features from landing on the yellow feature shot squares. The features typically range in value and can also be made red.
While progressing around the board, the player may be awarding hints and mega hints. These will be anything from pressing hold 1 to make a few things red, up to pressing a button for invincible. It is also common to be told the minimum value of the super feature win i.e. 'The Crazy Trails super feature is guaranteed to be more than X amount'.
Although the value of the super feature is not random, I believe the elimination of the other values is, so you can still end up with some pretty high offers depending on how you wish to play the game.
All in all Crazy Trails is a good playable game from Barcrest which offers the players a reasonable chance of profit whether they wish to force for mega streak, or simply collect a few wins.
