Coral FOBT and Betting Shop Information
Coral betting shops are littered across the country, often blighting high streets with anti-social behavior and problem gambling. Although they do have some nice locations, the general overall feel is a run down look designed solely to suck money from areas that could be better spent elsewhere.
You may argue that all gambling shops are the same, but not entirely so. Coral seem far more willing to turn a blind eye to drunk and under-age gamblers. This can be seen in many locations up and down the country, especially in college towns where many of their customers are under 18.
You may wonder why I am not supporting of these stores, especially as I run a gambling website. But I would liken it to being in favour of legalising marinara. The government might say it is ok, then the next thing you know, you have a hard-core crack den on your door-step. Coral is the hard-core crack den equivalent, and even the feel of their shops come across the same way.
Maybe I'm just bitter because I won £70 on their Trail Blazer fruit machine (on FOBT), and they refused to pay the ticket. Or £230 on their Key Bey Roulette game, which again was refused. Both cases were settled within seven days each, but were different stores miles apart and only settled when they were put under duress.
The underlying principle of Coral therefore seems to be to only welcome people who will lose, or win only by luck. Any skill, or supposed skill, and you are outta there!

Coral Fixed Odds Betting Terminals Information
The FOBT's are the main money earners for all betting shops, so Coral is no exception here. The terminals are very heavy on slot machines nowadays, and bonus themed roulette is also making for a popular alternative to their original, standard roulette game.
Many of their roulette games now features bonuses, or gambles to further increase, or rapidly decrease your winnings. This has helped diversify the user base of their machines, with a large increase in female players now obvious in many of their stores.
The randomness of their machines is very questionable, and although I am unable to prove it, it seems many of their roulette games do not use standard odds. As the law states that these games have to be random, it is the interpretation of this law that can be manipulated to any number of degrees.
I highly doubt that the machines randomly pick a number between 0 and 36, then spin to that number. Far too often the ball does a 'heart stopper', whereby it will land very close to your highest bet.
In my opinion the machine decides if you have won or lost using a random percentage based algorithm, and if it is a losing bet, it will land close to where you would have won the largest amount.
One reason for assuming this is the Key Bet Roulette game, which frequently lands very close to the Key Bet slot. Two extreme, but entirely true examples of this are six number 10's in a row (the number next door to the bonus slot). The odds on this are 38/1 times 6: 301,0936,384 to 1.
That's a lot right? In another case, the same number, (10) came in an incredible ten times in a row, or 62782118479882244 to 1. I don't even know what that number is! These are true examples of which I am sure there are many
